  1. Edge editing

  3. When you create an edge, it is always black by default. In order to turn the edge into a gray edge, you must specify a transformation for this edge. This is done in the 窶廢dit edge窶 dialog box. To get to this dialog box, you must open the edge. This is done by selecting the two nodes (or events) connected by the edge, and using the 窶廾pen edge(s)窶ｦ窶 command in the 窶廴odel窶 menu.

  5. The 窶廢dit edge窶 dialog box consists of a single view.

  7. The 窶廬nput窶 and 窶廾utput窶 fields represent the names of the input and output nodes of the edge. These cannot be edited in the 窶廢dit edge窶 dialog box.

  9. By using the 窶廡unction窶 popup menu, you can select a function transforming the input value before it is passed on. For black edges, the 窶廡unction窶 popup menu shows the word 窶廸one窶 indicating that there is no selected function for this edge.

Most of the functions, can be customized by adjusting several parameters. The parameters are labelled 窶彗窶, 窶彙窶, 窶彡窶, 窶彭窶 and 窶彳窶. (Some functions use only a subset of these parameters.) The use of the parameters, varies from function to function. Moreover, each function has its own set of default parameter values. To use the default parameters, select the function you want, and press the 窶彜et窶 button.
